(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old Jamestown resident, faces a slew of charges after a police raid at 116 Park Street on March 13, 2024.

On March 13, 2024, around 9:15 AM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to 116 Park Street to aid Chautauqua County Probation with a house check. Their attention swiftly turned to Nicholas J. Dean, 33, who was under probationary supervision.

A search of Dean’s residence allegedly uncovered a disturbing cache of illegal items, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, Buprenorphine Hydrochloride pills, a digital scale, narcotic packaging materials, two spring-assisted switchblade knives, an electronic stun gun, and $8085.00 in cash, suspected proceeds from illicit drug sales.

Dean was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He faces a litany of charges, including two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.

Dean was incarcerated at the Jamestown City Jail, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
