(WNY News Now) – Fredonia, NY – Fredonia residents, including those in Pomfret, are advised to conserve water starting midnight Saturday, April 13th, due to upcoming treatment plant work.
Beginning at midnight on Saturday April 13th all Fredonia water customers including those in the Town of Pomfret must conserve water until further notice. Between now and midnight on Saturday please store some tap water for drinking, in food safe containers, to prepare for a possible boil order. Work at the treatment plant early next week may result in the need for a boil order. Check the Village or County website (chqgov.com) for instructions on how to safely store water.
