(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – Three Jamestown residents were arrested on charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance following a traffic stop on Huxley St. near Front St.

During the traffic stop conducted by Jamestown Police Department officers on April 12, 2024, Randall K. Mesler, 55, Stephen H. Cassidy, 48, and Christopher S. Haberberger, 39, were allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and a billy club. Cassidy was also allegedly found with fentanyl. Due to previous convictions and possession of the weapon, all face charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree. Additionally, Mesler and Haberberger face charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, while Cassidy faces two counts of the same charge. Cassidy and Haberberger also had outstanding warrants. They are held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
