(WNY News Now) – Cattaraugus County, NY – Cattaraugus County Veterans Services Director, Steve E. McCord, announces expanded availability at various locations throughout the county to assist veterans and their families with VA benefit laws and healthcare inquiries.
McCord invites veterans and their families to discuss VA benefit laws, healthcare options, and address any concerns or questions they may have. The schedule for May includes stops at several locations:
- May 1, 2024: Gowanda American Legion Post, 1:30 – 4:00 pm
- May 2 and 16, 2024: Little Valley VFW Post, 1:30 – 4:00 pm
- May 8, 2024: Randolph American Legion Post, 10:00 am – Noon
- May 21, 2024: Franklinville Town Clerk’s Office, 1:30 – 3:00 pm
McCord’s office hours in Olean are from 8:00 am to noon, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, by prior appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (716) 701-3298. McCord emphasizes that appointments are required, and if no appointments are scheduled at any of the specified locations, he will remain at the county building in Olean.
