(WNY News Now) – Sinclairville, NY – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an assault in progress on Main St in Sinclairville, NY, leading to the arrest of a 46-year-old male for third-degree assault.

On May 5, 2024, at 6:49 AM, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to Main St, Sinclairville, NY, following reports of an ongoing assault. Upon investigation, it was found that Jeremiah Haas, 46, from Sinclairville, had allegedly struck another individual with a baseball bat, causing physical harm. Haas was promptly apprehended and charged with third-degree assault. Subsequently, he was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. Further details regarding the incident’s circumstances and the condition of the victim have not been disclosed.
