(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County – Two individuals were apprehended on May 6th, 2024, in separate operations spanning Dunkirk, Sheridan, and Jamestown, as part of ongoing investigations into alleged narcotics sales, culminating in multiple felony charges.

On May 6th, 2024, authorities in Chautauqua County executed arrests warrants for Tori N. Faison and Leanne R. Calkins, marking significant progress in two separate narcotics investigations. Faison, 45, was apprehended at 2740 Rt 5 in the Town of Sheridan, following a nine-month probe into suspected narcotics sales in Dunkirk and Sheridan. She faced charges including Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd. A subsequent search of the premises allegedly led to the seizure of cocaine, scales, and packaging materials. Additionally, Faison was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. She was arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.

Simultaneously, Leanne R. Calkins, 52, was located in the area of Allen St. and Foote Ave. in the City of Jamestown. Her arrest stemmed from a three-month-long investigation into alleged methamphetamine sales in Jamestown. Calkins faced charges including Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd. Over the course of the investigation, undercover officers allegedly purchased over 75 grams of methamphetamine from Calkins. She was arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court.
