(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – The Jamestown Area YMCA hosted a successful Kentucky Derby Viewing Party, announcing winners and kick starting their annual fundraising campaign.

Over 400 tickets were sold for the Kentucky Derby Viewing Party organized by the YMCA Board of Directors and Community Impact Committee. The event crowned Steve and Krista Cass as 1st place winners, followed by Kathi and Charlie Anderson in 2nd place, and John Healy in 3rd. Bonus prizes went to Terry and Katie Stronz, Gary Thompson, and Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union. Lew and Diana Meckley clinched the best derby hat contest, sponsored by Honest John’s Pizzeria. The YMCA now gears up for its Partner with Youth Annual Giving Campaign, offering complimentary game tickets to donors courtesy of the Jamestown Tarp Skunks.
