(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A Jamestown resident faces charges of Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief 4th in Jamestown City Court after a bike theft at Jamestown Cycle Shop.
Early this morning, Jamestown Cycle Shop reported a stolen bicycle, leading officers to review surveillance footage. The video allegedly revealed Joseph B. Trippe cutting the bike’s cable lock and taking the bicycle. Officers identified and located Trippe later in the day. He cooperated, disclosing the bike’s location, allowing officers to recover and return it undamaged to the owner. Trippe is currently held pending arraignment.
