(WNY News Now) – Lockport, NY — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that a 40-year-old man pled guilty in County Court to multiple assault charges stemming from incidents in Niagara Falls in 2021. The defendant admitted to one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and one count of Attempted Assault in the Second Degree.
Quennel R. Jordan’s charges include assaulting a person with a baseball bat in July 2021 and attempting to assault another individual in June 2021. Additionally, he admitted to stomping a person outside a gas station in July 2021 and assaulting a fourth individual in June 2021.
This plea resolves cases pending since September 2021. Jordan, in custody since then, faces 10 to 15 years in state prison when sentenced by County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek in July. The Niagara Falls Police Department investigated the cases, which were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Christine Savoia and Laura Jordan.
