Hanover, NY — A North Tonawanda woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after an incident in the Town of Hanover.

On May 25, 2024, at approximately 2:20 AM, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about an unwanted person at a residence in Hanover. The residents identified the suspect as Genesis V. King, 23, from North Tonawanda, NY.

Before the Sheriff’s deputies arrived, Genesis had left the residence in her vehicle. The deputies later located her parked at the Tim Hortons on Route 5 and 20. Following an investigation, it was determined that Genesis was intoxicated while driving.

Genesis V. King was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI). She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover court at a later date.
