Police Respond to Violent Incident on Lake Shore Drive
In the early hours of May 30, 2024, Dunkirk Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 123 Lake Shore Dr W, Apt C. Arriving officers found a suspect inside the apartment who had allegedly stabbed two individuals. Both the suspect and the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Brooks Hospital for treatment.
Following initial medical care, the suspect was transferred to UPMC Chautauqua. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time. Authorities will provide updates once the suspect is formally charged.
The Fredonia Police Department, Dunkirk Fire Department, and Alstar Ambulance assisted in the response and handling of the situation.
