This free public event, brimming with fishing activities, live music, and family-friendly fun, promises a memorable weekend for all attendees.
Friday, May 31, 2024: Big Fish Friday The festival opens with “Big Fish Friday,” inviting fishing enthusiasts to cast their lines as early as 6 a.m. The day features vendors from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering a variety of goods and services. At 5:00 p.m., the Weigh In Show will spotlight the day’s biggest catches. The evening will conclude with an electrifying performance by 1980 Something, an 80’s cover band, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 1, 2024: The Main Event The main fishing event kicks off with a shotgun start at 7:00 a.m. Vendors will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., providing ample time for festival-goers to explore local offerings. Music lovers can enjoy a performance by The Committed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Another Weigh In Show is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., followed by an evening concert by West of the Mark: The PRIME Project, a country band, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 2, 2024: Free Kids’ Fishing Day Sunday is dedicated to young anglers with a Free Kids’ Fishing Day. Registration for the Kids’ Fishing Tournament starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a Kids Fishing Clinic with Craig Sleeman at 8:00 a.m. The tournament runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon, culminating in an awards ceremony at noon to celebrate the young participants’ achievements.
