Late-Night Noise Complaint Leads to Discovery of Outstanding Warrant and Arrest
On May 29, 2024, at approximately 11:56 PM, Jamestown Police Department officers responded to a noise complaint at a south side address, leading to the arrest of Larry J. Tidd, a 35-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY.
The investigation revealed that Tidd had an active arrest warrant from Jamestown City Court. When officers informed him of the warrant, Tidd attempted to flee into his residence, resulting in a brief struggle with the officers. Tidd was subsequently taken into custody and additionally charged with resisting arrest. He is currently held at Jamestown City Jail, pending arraignment.
