(WNY News Now) – In an effort to help our furry friends find their fur-ever home, WNY News Now has partnered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society in a segment we like to call Pet of The Week. This week’s pet of the week is Goldfish.

“Hi Lee, today, we’re at the Chautauqua County Humane Society in Pur-adise, the cat room. And this is Goldfish. Goldfish came to us from a trailer in Lakewood where there was over 30 other cats and a lot of them have been adopted. They’re the Ocean Kitties, if you look on our website.”
“And Goldfish is showing you right now exactly what he likes. He’s five years old and he just wants a chill house with some good laid-back music that you can hear in the background here and he just wants your love to be a cuddle bug or a cuddle kitty so you can come meet him at the Chautauqua County Humane Society.”
“He has been microchipped, he’s been neutered, he is up to date on all his vaccinations and he is ready to meet his new family. So stop in. The Chautauqua County Humane Society is open from 1 to 5:30 today, 11 to 3 tomorrow. You can find out more at CHQhumane.org. Stop in and meet Goldfish!”
