Early Thursday morning, a West Seneca man was apprehended for unlawful entry into a residence on Route 20 in Portland.
On May 30, 2024, at approximately 5:36 AM, deputies from the Portland Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious male found sleeping inside a residence on Route 20. Upon arrival, authorities identified the individual as Anthony R. Johnson, a 34-year-old resident of West Seneca.
Johnson had allegedly entered the dwelling without permission and remained there unlawfully. Following the investigation, he was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass in the second degree. Johnson was subsequently released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Portland Court at a later date.
