Jamestown, NY – June 10, 2024 – The City of Jamestown has rescheduled its Grievance Day 2024, which was originally set for June 3rd but was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The new date for this event is now June 20th, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Grievance Day is a vital occasion for Jamestown residents to discuss property assessments, voice their concerns, seek clarifications, and address any grievances. The event provides a crucial platform for community engagement and ensures that residents’ voices are heard regarding property assessment issues.

Mayor Kimberly Ecklund expressed her apologies for the inconvenience caused by the original cancellation and emphasized the city’s commitment to facilitating this important event. “We regret any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the original date and are grateful for the community’s understanding,” Ecklund stated. “We are committed to ensuring that residents have the opportunity to participate in Grievance Day and have their voices heard.”
