Jamestown Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Controlled Substances
On June 13, 2024, at approximately 7:03 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Broadhead Avenue and Prather Avenue. The stop resulted in the arrest of Todd R. Dean, a 33-year-old resident of Jamestown, for possession of various controlled substances.
During the investigation, officers discovered quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and cutting agents in Dean’s possession. Consequently, Dean was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and one count of Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree.
Dean was taken into custody and was released on an appearance ticket. He is expected to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
