Cold Spring NY – On June 10, 2024, at 7:00 AM, deputies responded to a domestic incident at 10190 Old Route 17, resulting in the arrest of Kevin Stafford, 32, for Criminal Mischief, Harassment, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb, authorities were alerted to the scene following reports of a child with facial injuries. Upon arrival, deputies found evidence pointing to Kevin Stafford as the perpetrator. The charges include Criminal Mischief in the third degree (NYS PL 145.05), Harassment in the second degree (NYS PL 240.26), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (NYS PL 260.10).
Stafford was arraigned in Cold Spring Town Court before Hon. Judge Barber and is scheduled to appear again in July 2024.
