(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk, NY – The Dunkirk High School Class of 1989 will host the 10th Annual Marauder Trotter 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, July 6 at Wright Park.
The annual race, which is open to the public, is a fundraiser for their memorial scholarship managed by the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.

Registration is available on-line at
https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Dunkirk/MarauderTrotter5KRunWalk. The deadline to guarantee a commemorative t-shirt is Thursday, June 27.
In honor of the 10-year anniversary, a birthday carnival with a bounce house, carnival game tent, dunk tank, face painting and balloon twisting will take place on the city’s grassy lot off Serval Street from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Tickets will be $1 each for activities requiring one to five tickets per participant.
Proceeds from the carnival, bottle pull and birthday present silent auction will be donated to the DHS Unified Sports Program.
Early packet pickup and last minute registration is Friday, July 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. under the white tent at Wright Park. Day of race registration is also available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
