(WNY News Now) – Pomfret – A single-car accident on Fredonia Stockton Road in Pomfret led to DWI charges for a Cassadaga man on Wednesday afternoon.

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 3:14 PM, deputies responded to a reported single-vehicle property damage accident on Fredonia Stockton Road near Webster Road in the Town of Pomfret. Upon arrival, they discovered a sedan overturned in a ditch with the driver still inside.

The driver, identified as 35-year-old Travis A. Perry from Cassadaga, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Through their investigation, deputies determined that Perry’s blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.

Perry has been cited for Unsafe Lane Change, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), and DWI Per Se. He will appear in the Town of Pomfret Court to address these charges.
