(WNY News Now) – Salamanca – Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb reported an incident of warrant arrest involving Jenell L. Long, 48, of Mayville, NY, on June 21, 2024, at approximately 11:10 AM in Salamanca, NY.
On June 21, 2024, deputies encountered Jenell L. Long during an unrelated incident on Broad St., Salamanca, NY. Subsequent investigation revealed that Long was the subject of an active bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court. She was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Jail for processing. Long remains remanded to the custody of the CC Jail pending further proceedings.
As are all persons accused of a crime, Long is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
