(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – In the early hours of Sunday, July 7, 2024, Syracuse Police responded to a distressing incident on the 400 block of East Washington Street. At approximately 3:01 AM, officers arrived at the scene of a stabbing and found a 28-year-old female victim with a significant laceration on her forehead.
According to the initial investigation, the suspect, a male, brandished a large knife and attacked the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. The woman was promptly transported to University Hospital, where she is currently in stable condition.
