(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A 29-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to both legs in a shooting incident on Greenland Drive on July 4th, 2024, prompting a swift response from Syracuse Police.

On Thursday, July 4th, 2024, at approximately 4:59 PM, Syracuse Police Officers rushed to the 100 block of Greenland Drive following reports of gunfire and a man injured. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as a 29-year-old male, suffering from gunshot wounds to both legs. Emergency services from AMR quickly transported the victim to University Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Fortunately, medical personnel expect him to survive his injuries.
