(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A domestic dispute on the East Side of Jamestown led to the arrest of Andrew L. Crawford, facing multiple felony charges.
On July 5, 2024, at approximately 7:10 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a residence on the East Side of the city for an in-progress domestic dispute involving reported injuries.
Upon arrival, officers found that Andrew L. Crawford, a 29-year-old Jamestown resident, had unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and threatened them with harm. During the incident, Crawford violated two separate orders of protection that were in place to safeguard the victim.
After his arrest, Crawford was evaluated on-site by EMS for self-inflicted wounds. He received treatment at UPMC Chautauqua and was subsequently transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident. He is currently being held pending arraignment on three felony counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and one count of Harassment in the Second Degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, Crawford is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
