(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – In the early hours of July 13, 2024, a domestic dispute at a South Side residence led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Jamestown resident. Mario M. Castro is facing charges of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree and Harassment in the 2nd degree following the incident.
On July 13, 2024, at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon were dispatched to a South Side residence in response to a third-party report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found Mario M. Castro, a 30-year-old resident of Jamestown, threatening physical harm to a victim and causing property damage within the home.
The officers promptly took Castro into custody and transported him to Jamestown City Jail. He is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court, facing charges of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree and Harassment in the 2nd degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
