(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A shocking incident on I-690 Eastbound leaves a man injured as Syracuse Police intensify their investigation.

On Tuesday, July 16th, at approximately 6:52 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired on I-690 Eastbound, near the Teall Avenue exit. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple bullet casings at the scene and located an adult male in his 20s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his arm.

The injured man was promptly transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. Authorities have not released further details about the victim or potential suspects.
