(WNY News Now) – HANOVER, NY – Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 3rd, from 9 AM to 5 PM, as the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce Hanover Committee hosts the 32nd Annual Silver Creek Yard Sales. This beloved community event invites residents and visitors to browse for bargains and enjoy a day of discovery throughout Silver Creek.
Participants can register their sales for $10 per household to be featured on the official yard sale map. Registration can be completed through the Chamber’s web calendar at www.chqchamber.org or in person at Hae Jude Custom Signs, Dave’s Outlet Store, or Silver Creek Village Hall during regular business hours. To ensure inclusion on the map, registration must be received by July 29th.
On the day of the sales, maps will be available for purchase at the village park for $2 each, guiding bargain hunters to all participating locations. The event not only fosters community engagement but also contributes to a worthy cause, with proceeds supporting scholarships for graduating seniors at Silver Creek and Forestville High Schools.
