(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – On July 22, 2024, at approximately 4:15 PM, officers from the 2nd Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to the Probation Office at 110 E 4th St. The purpose of their visit was to assist probation officers in a routine check.
During this check, 33-year-old Cory A. Carlson, a resident of Jamestown, was present. Officers discovered that Carlson had an outstanding warrant issued by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania. The warrant classified Carlson as a Fugitive From Justice, a felony charge.
Following protocol, officers arrested Carlson at the scene and transported him to the Jamestown City Jail. He is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
