(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, NY – On the evening of July 21, 2024, authorities executed a significant warrant arrest in the city of Olean.
At approximately 8:28 PM, Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb reported that Kari L. Jolin, 41, of Allegany, NY, was apprehended on South 9th Street in Olean, NY. Jolin, who had numerous outstanding warrants from different agencies, was taken into custody without incident.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office confirmed an active bench warrant for Jolin, signaling their intent to take her into custody. Following her arrest, Jolin was transported to the Country Fair in Springville, where she was handed over to Erie County deputies. She was then taken to the Erie County Holding Center, where she remains pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
