(WNY News Now) – Allegany County, NY – Residents and motorists in Allegany County are urged to plan ahead as a key section of County Road 10 will be closed for essential maintenance.

The Allegany County Department of Public Works has announced that a portion of County Road 10 in the Town of Ward will be closed from August 5 to August 8. This closure, affecting the stretch from Duke Road to Baker Road, is necessary to replace a culvert.

Superintendent Thomas H. Windus advises that there will be no on-site detour, and motorists should seek alternate routes during this period. The department thanks the public for their cooperation and patience as this crucial infrastructure improvement is carried out.
