(WNY News Now) – Great Valley, NY – On July 21, 2024, at approximately 10:25 PM, Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb reported the arrest of Bethany L. Jackson, 33, of Olean, NY. Jackson was taken into custody on Route 417 in Great Valley due to an active felony bench warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Court stemming from a prior arrest.
Jackson was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where she is being held pending further court proceedings. The warrant was executed under CPL 530.70-3, with no bail set at this time.
The arrest operation was conducted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the New York State Police. Jackson will appear before Judge Ploetz in the County of Cattaraugus for her next court date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
