Lance R. Weaver Arrested on Warrant for Alleged Burglary
(WNY News Now) – Yorkshire – On July 23, 2024, Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb reported the arrest of Lance R. Weaver, 57, of Yorkshire, NY, following a warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest took place at 7:56 AM at 10887 McKinstry Rd, Yorkshire, NY.
According to the police investigation, Mr. Weaver allegedly entered a building unlawfully and took property without permission. He was arraigned in Yorkshire Town Court and subsequently released, pending further court proceedings. Weaver is set to return to court at a later date to face charges under New York Penal Law 140.20 (burglary) and 155.25 (petit larceny). As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
