(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – Join the Los Contrincantes Car Club and Bike Crews at Lilian Dickson Park on August 31st for a day of community, free services, and back-to-school giveaways.
The 6th Annual Back 2 School Giveaway, hosted by Los Contrincantes Car Club and Bike Crews, is set to take place on August 31st at Lilian Dickson Park in Jamestown, NY. The event will kick off at 1 pm and continue until supplies last.
This year’s event features an array of free services and giveaways designed to prepare students for the upcoming school year. Local barbers Santi’s Barber Shop, Alex Blends, and Jean’s Barbershop will offer free haircuts. For girls, Hayrlinc, Tonya Bowles, and Abbey & Tay’s Back 2 School Styles will provide complimentary braiding and haircuts with parental consent. Additionally, Elegant Nails will be on-site providing free manicures.
The event also includes free treats and refreshments. Off The Stick Ice Cream Co will hand out free ice cream, C&M Detailing will provide free pizza, and The Swamp will offer free drinks. Chachy’s Lemonades will be available for purchase, offering their popular lemonade.
Special guests, the Jamestown Jackals, will make an appearance, adding to the day’s excitement. Ali’s Crafty Boutique will give away free hair bows, and the Chautauqua County Little Free Project will distribute free Bombas socks.
Reflecting on last year’s success, the organizers are excited to build on their achievement of distributing nearly 400 backpacks full of school supplies. This event, the club’s largest of the year, underscores their commitment to community support.
