(WNY News Now) – Allegany, NY – On July 28, 2024, at approximately 7:38 PM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Donald L. Jimerson, 52, of Olean, NY. Jimerson was taken into custody for violating an order of protection, following a thorough investigation.
Donald L. Jimerson was charged with Stalking in the 4th Degree (PL 120.45 [2]), Harassment in the Second Degree (PL 240.26 [2]), and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (PL 215.51 [B4]). After being arraigned in the Town of Allegany Court, he was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
The incident occurred at 3285 McClure Hollow Rd in Allegany, NY. The investigation was led by Officer 2170 with assistance from Officer 2171 and the New York State Police (NYSP). The case is being overseen by Judge Porter. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
