(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY – The Syracuse Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that took place in the 200 block of Hopper Road. Officers responded to the scene for a welfare check at approximately 6:53 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30th, not Sunday, as previously reported.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Angelina Huyck (pronounced ‘hike’) deceased at the location. The nature and cause of her death are under investigation, with authorities treating the case as a homicide.
The Syracuse Police Department emphasizes that the investigation is active and ongoing. Detectives are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist with the case.
