(WNY News Now) – Olean – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Leland J. John, 38, of Olean, NY, on an outstanding arrest warrant, dating back to 2021, issued by the Cattaraugus County Family Court.
On August 14, 2024, at approximately 12:38 PM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office executed a warrant arrest in Olean, NY. Leland J. John, 38, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant that had been issued out of Cattaraugus County Family Court in 2021.
John was promptly arraigned before Judge Howden and subsequently remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail. He is being held pending further court proceedings. The warrant was related to charges under CPL 120.60(1). As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
