(WNY News Now) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) issued the following statement in response to the recovery of the bodies of six hostages, including American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who were murdered by Hamas terrorists:
“Today, we mourn the brutal murder of six hostages, including American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin, whose body was recovered by the IDF after being held hostage by Hamas terrorists for more than ten months. During my trip to Israel, I met Hersh’s parents, who have shown incredible strength in the face of these unimaginable horrors — my deepest condolences go out to them and the other families who’ve lost loved ones at the hands of these murderers. Hersh’s death is a stark reminder of the pure evil that Hamas represents. America will not tolerate the murder of our citizens, and we must stand firmly with Israel in its fight to eradicate these terrorists,” said Congressman Langworthy.
