(WNY News Now) – Cherry Creek – A Jamestown man faces multiple charges, including Aggravated DWI, following a late-night traffic stop in Cherry Creek.
On the evening of August 31, 2024, at approximately 9:58 p.m., deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle on Route 83 in the Town of Cherry Creek committing several traffic violations. The deputies initiated a traffic stop, during which the driver was identified as 27-year-old Zachery J. Sticek of Jamestown, New York.
During their investigation, deputies determined that Sticek was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Reckless Driving, Speeding Over 55 mph, and Improper Passing.
Sticek was processed and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Cherry Creek Court to face the charges at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
