(WNY News Now) – Fredonia – A late-night traffic stop in Fredonia resulted in the arrest of a Randolph man for driving while intoxicated.
In the early hours of September 8, 2024, at approximately 1:17 a.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Leverett Street in the Village of Fredonia. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Bryson J. Rozler of Randolph, NY, was pulled over for having no or insufficient tail lamps.
Upon further investigation, deputies determined that Rozler was driving under the influence. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, and operating a vehicle with faulty tail lamps.
Rozler is scheduled to appear in Fredonia Village Court at a later date to face these charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
