(WNY News Now) – Olean – A 53-year-old Olean resident was taken into custody after authorities executed a bench warrant, leading to her remand at the Cattaraugus County Jail.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Amy M. Yaudes, 53, of Olean, NY, on a bench warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Court. The arrest occurred at 11:44 AM on September 9, 2024, at 1201 N Union St, Olean, NY.
Deputies transported Yaudes to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where she is being held pending future court proceedings. The warrant was executed under CPL 530.70(3), a legal provision used when individuals fail to appear for a court-ordered appearance.
At this time, there are no details available regarding bail or additional charges. The court case is set to proceed as Yaudes remains in custody. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
