(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A late-night confrontation on Wolf Street left three people injured in a violent series of events involving both stabbings and a shooting.
In the early hours of Saturday, September 14th, a violent altercation on the 600 block of Wolf Street resulted in three individuals being hospitalized. Syracuse Police responded to a report of gunfire at approximately 1:05 a.m., where they discovered a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Officers provided immediate first aid before the victim was transported by AMR to Upstate University Hospital. He is currently listed in stable condition.
Simultaneously, officers were notified that two additional victims—both with stab wounds—had arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital via private vehicle. A 19-year-old female sustained a stab wound to her left thigh, while a 25-year-old male suffered multiple stab wounds to his back. Both individuals are also listed in stable condition.
According to police, preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting and stabbings occurred at the same location. Details surrounding the motive and individuals involved are still unclear, as investigators continue to gather evidence.
