(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – On September 17, 2024, at approximately 10:55 PM, Jamestown Police responded to a call about a disorderly patient at UPMC Chautauqua. The subject, 47-year-old Demian J. Seger, reportedly became agitated during his discharge process, leading to a series of alarming behaviors.

According to UPMC staff, Seger caused significant damage to a hospital bed, exposing himself and making threats towards the medical personnel. His actions prompted an immediate police response, resulting in his arrest without further incident. Seger was subsequently transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he faces charges of criminal mischief in the second degree, public lewdness, and harassment in the second degree.

Seger’s case is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
