(WNY News Now) – Syracuse, NY – In the early hours of Sunday, October 6, 2024, Syracuse Police responded to a stabbing incident on the 900 block of Ackerman Avenue. Officers arrived around 1:54 a.m. and found a 21-year-old male victim with a facial laceration. He was treated on the scene and released. The victim reported that a second individual, his 19-year-old friend, had also been stabbed and was receiving treatment at Crouse Hospital.

Police located the 19-year-old male at the hospital with a stab wound to the neck. Thankfully, neither of the injuries were life-threatening.
