(WNY News Now) – A routine traffic stop in Gowanda led to the discovery of crack cocaine and the arrest of a local resident.
On September 29, 2024, at approximately 2:36 a.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brynn A. Haskins, 40, of Gowanda, following a traffic stop on Buffalo Street. During the stop, deputies conducted a vehicle search that uncovered drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine in Haskins’ possession.
Haskins was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree under New York Penal Law 220.03. After processing, she was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Persia Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
