(WNY News Now) – A routine domestic disturbance call in Little Valley led to the arrest of a 31-year-old woman, revealing suspected drug possession.

On October 3, 2024, Cattaraugus County Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported the arrest of Crystal M. Lore, 31, following a domestic incident on Fourth St., Little Valley, NY. Deputies responded to the scene in the early hours of the morning, where they later located Lore at an address on Fair Oak St.

During their investigation, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in Lore’s vehicle. A subsequent search revealed a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and Alprazolam (Xanax). Lore was taken into custody and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. She was then arraigned in the Town of Allegany Court and released on her own recognizance.

Lore faces charges under New York State Penal Law, including criminal possession of a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Little Valley Court for further proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
