(WNY News Now) – Dante Bolling, 25, faces a lengthy prison term after his conviction for involvement in a significant drug conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Dante Bolling, a 25-year-old resident of Rochester, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for his role in a drug conspiracy involving cocaine. Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford presided over the sentencing, marking the end of a significant investigation into drug trafficking in the area.
Bolling was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, along with possession of ammunition by an unlawful user of a controlled substance. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Katelyn M. Hartford, who managed the prosecution, Bolling conspired with associates to sell cocaine throughout the Rochester region from August 2020 until his arrest on August 25, 2022.
On the day of his arrest, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Bolling’s residence on Mayflower Street. During the search, authorities seized approximately 66 grams of cocaine along with various drug trafficking paraphernalia. Additionally, Bolling was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition, despite being aware of his unlawful status as a user of marijuana.
The investigation that led to Bolling’s conviction was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Bryan Miller, New York Field Division.
