(WNY News Now) – A multi-agency raid on 221 E 8th Street in Jamestown, New York, led to the arrest of six individuals, including one wanted on a bench warrant, and the seizure of drugs, cash, and untaxed cigarettes.

Jamestown, N.Y. – On the evening of October 8, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, in collaboration with the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, executed several search warrants at 221 E 8th Street, Jamestown, New York. The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into complaints of narcotics sales and the illegal distribution of untaxed cigarettes.

In Apartment #1, authorities detained Pablo Ramos, Roberto Torres Vega, and Ian Sanchez. A search of the residence uncovered 6.6 grams of cocaine, $1,161 in cash, and a supply of cigarettes. Ramos faces charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree. Torres Vega has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, while Sanchez faces charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

In Apartment #2, three individuals attempted to flee but were apprehended on an enclosed porch. A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of drug packaging materials, digital scales, cutting agents, and $887 in cash.

In Apartment #3, Omar Rosado, Zuleyka Fuentes Cruz, and Jessica Hernandez were taken into custody, along with two children found in the residence. A search yielded fentanyl and drug packaging materials. All three face charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Fuentes Cruz was also arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Lakewood Busti Police Department.

A garage apartment on the property was found unoccupied during the raid.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Jamestown Police Department received significant assistance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Services Tactical Medics, and the Jamestown Fire Department.
