(WNY News Now) – Danielle Hampton, 51, of Rochester, NY, faces a 24-month prison sentence after being convicted of maintaining a drug-involved premises in a federal court.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Danielle Hampton, a 51-year-old resident of Rochester, has been sentenced to 24 months in federal prison after being convicted of maintaining a drug-involved premises, according to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross. The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. following a jury trial.

The investigation into Hampton’s activities began in September 2021 when the Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team (GRANET) initiated surveillance of drug-related activities at 304 Adams Street. Investigators conducted controlled purchases of cocaine at the residence, confirming illicit activity.

On November 18, 2021, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the address, discovering Hampton inside. The search uncovered 9 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded firearm, $571 in cash, and various drug paraphernalia. Authorities also found two children present during the search, adding to the seriousness of the charges. Hampton was immediately taken into custody.

The investigation was a joint effort by GRANET, which includes Homeland Security Investigations, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rochester Police Department. U.S. Attorneys Katelyn M. Hartford and Nicholas M. Testani prosecuted the case.
