Jamestown, N.Y. – In the early hours of October 10, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon arrested two individuals in connection with a robbery incident that occurred earlier in the week. The arrests took place around 1:06 AM during routine patrols near Fulton Street on Jamestown’s Northside.
Michael A. Green, 34, and Abigail L. Thompson, 22, both of Jamestown, were identified by officers as suspects wanted on arrest warrants stemming from a robbery on October 7, 2024. Green was apprehended first, near a residence, and upon being searched, was found in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. He now faces additional charges for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, along with robbery in the 1st degree, menacing in the 2nd degree, and petit larceny.
Shortly after Green’s arrest, officers located Thompson outside a business on North Main Street. She was taken into custody without incident and charged with robbery, menacing, and petit larceny related to the same robbery case. Both Green and Thompson are being held pending their arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
