(WNY News Now) – A routine arrest in Salamanca has led to the capture of a man wanted on a Cattaraugus County arrest warrant.
Salamanca, N.Y. – On the morning of October 10, 2024, Terry Nichols, 41, of Salamanca, NY, was apprehended on a Cattaraugus County arrest warrant. Nichols was taken into custody by the Salamanca Police Department.
After his arrest, Nichols was transferred to the custody of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he awaits a future court appearance. However, Nichols was later released on his own recognizance, with no bail required at this time. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
